Why you need this course

EEO Investigation focuses on determining If discrimination happens in the workplace during communication between colleagues, managers, and clients. The investigation is conducted systematically and requires an investigator’s knowledge of EEO laws and theories of discrimination. Thus, EEO investigators need to refresh their knowledge, and HR professionals and leaders need to build new knowledge around this topic.

By taking this course, you will

  • Understand the core concepts of three different acts and laws in EEO
  • Define the differences between disparate treatment, disparate impact, and reasonable accommodation
  • Differentiate cases that show types of theories

Course Instruction

You will begin the course by clicking the following box below the instruction. However, before that, be aware that

  1. Subtopics will flow one after another, so you do not need to return to this page.
  2. A knowledge test will follow each subtopic, so pay attention to the content and take notes.
  3. At the end of the course, you have to take a quiz consisting of 5 questions covering all content areas, so take some notes while taking the course. You will not have a second attempt at the question, so choose the best answer in your first attempt. Be mindful that if you cannot pass the test, you will be disqualified from holding your certification.
